Honda Urban EV Concept – Reporting from Autoevolution, in the event the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, Honda displays one eccentric car. This car is named Honda Urban EV Concept. This car brings a thick retro face with old-fashioned nuances. Because of its form also, the car successfully seized the attention of many visitors.
Although old-fashioned, this car has been carrying modern technology with futuristic shades of accents in many parts.
If you look closely, the shape is similar to Honda’s hatchback car in the 1980s. Urban EV Concept is a car equipped with pure electric propulsion. The car is also built on a completely new platform. According to the plan, the production version of the Urban EV Concept will take place in 2019, where Europe will be the region’s first launch debut.
Honda’s electric hatchback does look simple but elegant. This is thanks to the simple design that is mated with a wide tire and rim motif fingers, to make the wheel arch look muscular. The rounded LEDs and the glowing Honda emblem give a strong feel to the Urban EV Concept.
Going into the cabin, there are two doors that perch and can be opened upside down from a conventional car. The cabin is designed to resemble a future car, with a long LCD monitor and a steering wheel. Unique seat shaped like a sofa house was present in it. This deliberately presented Honda as a manifestation of sense of comfort, so that the driver will feel like being in the house.
This car has also been equipped with the latest technology Honda, Power Manager Concept. This is a smart system that can store more energy and more efficiently. But unfortunately, so far Honda has not specified in detail the specifications of Urban EV Concept.
